A patient wearing a Uni-Collar collar should always follow physician’s directions. Failure to do so or to use in any way other then prescribed can result in damage to nerves, tendons and muscles. Skin areas covered by the collar should be clean and dry.

The collar must be comfortable. It must allow the wearer to breathe normally and must not create pressure on the neck, under the jaw and to the shoulders.
Adjustment:
You should be able to insert your finger between the collar and your neck easily.
