A patient wearing a cervical colar should always follow physician’s directions. Failure to use in any way other than prescribed can result in damage to nerves,
tendons and muscles. Skin areas covered by the collar should be clean and dry. The collar must be comfortable. it must allow the wearer to breathe normally
and must not create pressure on the neck, under the jaw and to teh shoulders. Anatomical shape and adjustable height.
